Using the power of the outdoors for our younger generations

At Pathway we help change the lives of young people using the transformational effect of outdoor adventure. If you are interested in hearing what we are up too then please Contact Us!

Pathway is a Not-for-Profit organisation which has been brought about to raise funds and to develop and deliver programmes to positively impact the lives of At Risk Youth through Outdoor Adventure.

Outdoor adventure activities with controlled risk such as mountain biking, wild camping and hiking, rock climbing, risk and challenge are widely recognised globally for their ability to improve self confidence, team work and re-enforcing the ability to dream and hope in the most disadvantaged of our newest generation.

Our web site is new but please keep coming back for more up to date info on our programmes.

Who Are We?

Scott Harkin

Operations Manager

Scott is the founder of Guidedzone, and serves as the Executive Director for Pathway. Throughout his life Scott has participated at high levels in many outdoor sports. From being a competitive bi-athlete, trail runner, adventure racer and mountain biker, through to recreational rock climbing, bush-walking and others, Scott has spent most of his life developing a passion for the outdoors. As well as a love of the outdoor Scott has had a successful professional life and served with the UK Special Air Services. He attributes some of his personal success in life to this passion for the outdoors. In 2017, Scott founded Pathway as a means to give at-risk and underprivileged youth the same life-changing opportunities that he has had.

Drawing from his own personal experiences, Scott developed the Pathway program model and philosophies that have proven to be so successful working with at-risk and underprivileged youth.
